Profile
As well as working as a qualified nurse in Norway for several years, I have been an active painter during the last ten years. The artistic path in my life has become more and more important and I therefore decided to complete my art education by studying a Fine Art Degree at Northbrook College, Worthing. As an artist I’m always seeking new ways to observe the world around me. I am inspired by the idea that the memories from the past are melting together with the dreams of the future and this creates the magical moment that we call the present time. I have chosen an approach in my work which is somewhere between the abstract and the figurative and for mostly with oil on canvas. My paintings often go through a long process which I can liken to an exhausting journey where the direction changes as the original plan or idea develops.Education
